Risk management looks at the unique risk factors that affect individual projects, and provides PMs with tools and techniques required to define, understand and respond to these risks. And there are few disciplines within project management that have a greater impact on project success.
In fact, according to research, organizations that take a formal, disciplined approach to risk management tend to enjoy significant advantages in terms of overall process maturity and consistently deliver projects on time and on budget. This course has been designed to provide participants with an understanding of how risk can be looked at in a project management context, and introduces strategies to most effectively address and manage potential project risks.
