How can coaching be of benefit to project managers? A coaching approach is about creating awareness, initiating action and creating accountability. It's about engaging in a thought-provoking and creative process, formal or informal, that is underpinned by conversations we have with those we work with as well as those we work for. The coaching approach can include many forms of interaction such as "pure" coaching, mentoring, advising, and guiding. As organizations continue to develop their project management skills and competencies, there is an increasing need for project managers to be experts in using a coaching approach.
This course provides the opportunity for participants to learn and practice the art of coaching in a project management context.
Using a combination of theory and hands-on practice, this workshop gives you the skills and knowledge necessary to take your real-world project experience and apply it successfully in guiding and coaching eager new project managers through their early career challenges.
